"Icy organ" interactive installation
"Icy Organ" is an audio-visual installation, born in the process of experimentation with ice and touch sensors. Moscow saw it first in winter 2016 in the Bauman Garden, and it aroused considerable public interest. Icy Organ is made of real ice, as the name implies. Touching its columns makes musical samples play, and switches tap lights on. Tactile contacts are defined and analyzed by the sensor system, responsible for the light and sound. Icy Organ's musical library uses samples recorded by Anna Vetlugina, composer and resident organist of the Moscow Roman Catholic Minster
